For one example, look at the states that require one. And then gave the car a walk around- looking for anything to give me a ticket for.Įventually came back and told me to watch my speed.Ĭlick to expand.I'll agree here, with the fact that the front plate is pretty much useless. (the questions he asked- basically showed he didnt believe me). He looked around inside the car and asked where I was going- and practically interrogated me about where I worked. anyways- my rear glass was full of dew- and he looks at it and then looks at my passenger door- and says- why dont you have a mirror on the door? I said- this car didnt come with a mirror on the passenger door (it was an extra option). (Ummmm yeah- what about the MB and BMW's that were at the red light with me- who really sped away from the light.). he made a right turn - I went straight.sure enough he came back after making a bunch of turns to get back to me. I waited at the light- and I knew he was going to 'get me'. the officer asked if id seen him behind me- (of course I had- Id actually seen him staring at my car thru his sideview mirror as he was prepping to make a right- and I was in the lane next to him a few cars BACK. A footbeat officer- walked into the street and signaled me to pull over. I happened to look down at a paper in bumper to bumper traffic.and the light turned green. The saturn was the only one that I got a ticket. So knowing I never broke the law (except saturn)- I was stilled pulled over- so I dont want to give any reasons. The good thing is- that its been a long time since Ive been pulled over. I learned early on- that in certain parts youll get pulled over for not fitting in- and giving them a reason with no plate. Its not worth it to me to get pulled over. But what gets expensive is getting the tix written off or the possible outcome of maybe forgetting to pay the tix. I learned over the years- to have my cars in proper working order. Cars are even ticketed by meter maids for not having front plates.
